Stitchlinks had a stand at the Craft, Hobby and Stitch Trade Show at the NEC with enabled us to make contact with Trades people both here in the UK and internationally.

Professor Paul Dieppe, Director of Clinical Research at the Peninsular Medical School gave a wonderful talk based on his work on Pain and Healing at the Royal Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases in Bath. His work focusses on how clinicians should be treating Body, Mind and Spirit and not simply considering medical treatments of the body when a patient presents in their consultation rooms.

Pain Concern's Airing Pain series of Radio Programmes featured a programme recorded at our knitting group in the pain clinic of the Royal United Hospital in Bath. Programme 11 is mainly about us and you can listen to this again as a podcast on Able Radio.

We had a great time at this year's I Knit Weekender. It was good to meet old and new Stitchlinks members. We also met up with health professionals who are keen to start knitting groups so it was a good show.
